The Boy From Anywhere Flash WebsiteMorgan, one of the North East's brightest rising stars commissioned me to design and develop this warm, friendly Flash microsite to accompany the release of his debut album The Boy From Anywhere. Featuring an interactive mp3 jukebox, photo gallery and PHP guestbook, this simple, intimate website gave Morgan the perfect platform from which to interact with his audience.

Other bands in the North East had websites of their own and Morgan knew that in order to compete, he needed something very special: a website that would not only make him stand out amongst an army of emerging talent, but also keep his growing fanbase up to date with the latest gig dates and magazine reviews.

The website needed to be kept up to date for it to be effective, with new gig dates and magazine reviews being posted regularly. However, with very little IT experience, and no training in flash development or website design, a bespoke Content Management System eased the learning curve and provide Morgan with a quick and easy way of updating his website.
The entire site runs off a very simple forms-based PHP Content Management System, through which every aspect of the website content can be altered, including the uploading of photographs and MP3 tracks.
