Insite Christmas Snowballing GameLeading North East landscape architects Insite Environments commissioned me to design a fun and friendly interactive flash Christmas Card to send out to their client list in advance of the holiday season.
I had been commissioned the year before to illustrate a similar e-card and the response had been so positive that Insite wanted to go a step further with their 2004 effort, with a completely interactive Flash snowballing game.
The aim of the flash game is very simple: When one of the five company directors sticks their head out from behind the scenery, blast them in the face with a snowball!
Easy to pick up, and yet difficult to master, the game was designed and authored entirely in Flash and even takes into account the amount of drop required when a snowball is thrown over a great distance.
The flash e-card was an colossal success, and with a bottle of champagne for the handiest snowballer, competition amongst the younger audience members was abounding!
