'Mortimus Maximus' Character IllustrationThis digital illustration, airbrushed in Adobe Photoshop depicts a fictional video game character Mortimus Maximus.
The image was created in my spare time for a game-art competition, the object of which was to illustrate a character from a fictional video game - the kind of image you might see on a sleeve design or promo.
The drawing was sketched out in pencil first, then scanned and imported into Macromedia Flash to tidy up the lines. Once the drawing had been vectorised, I then painted it by hand in Adobe Photoshop using a very crisp, smooth cartoon style.
